Tanja Shaw is the host of the Fit & Vibrant You podcast and my guest for this episode. She is a Health Coach, Personal Trainer and vibrant, sensible influence. She uses a realistic approach to helping her clients find a healthy, sane and long-term approach to improving their health and losing excess body fat.

Tanja is on a mission to help others live a vibrant, energetic life in a body they love. Her background is in Kinesiology, and she owns a successful personal training business in her hometown, Chilliwack BC.
She’s spent the last 11 years working one-on-one with people who wanted to lose weight and improve their health. And she’s learned first hand exactly what doesn’t work: like a strict meal plan or exercise program.
Most health ‘experts’ out there will tell you what to eat and when to eat it. Except the ‘knowing what to eat’ is such a small part of our solution. If you’re like most people, you already know what you should do. You just don’t do it (for more than a few days or weeks)
Through her online courses, and coaching she helps men and women ditch dieting, and find a more peaceful, relaxed relationship with food and body so they can take all that is wasted on fighting food and ‘trying to be good’ (but then falling face first into a jar of almond butter), and spend it on living life.
When she’s not working, you can find her exploring local trails and mountains, and spending time with her husband, Keith, son, Jacob and black dog named Red.
